Save the date …. Spirit Training on Thursday, August 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM!!

This summer spirit training will be our send off for our beloved sempai, Tucker Tibbetts and Win Piper, as well as black belts Cameron Glouchevitch and Caitlin Martin (and anyone else?) who will be heading off to college at the end of the summer.

It also happens to be the week of the Miracle Mile dojo’s seventeenth anniversary! 

I’m looking forward to a good old-fashioned spirit training!

Henry Song

Okinawan Karate Academy will host a special guest instructor this Saturday, July
23.

Henry Song is close friends with Sempai Josh Thompson.  He holds a 5th degree
black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a B.A. in Martial Arts form the University of Bridgeport. 
Master Song will teach some of the dynamic kicking techniques that Tae Kwon Do
is famous for. 

Master Song has trained under Grand Master Kee Young Choi for fifteen years and
is an instructor at Young’s Tae Kwon Do.  He is a Gold medalist from the 1999
Korean-American Olympics and a silver medalist from the 2006 National Collegiate
Tournament.

NO REGULAR CLASSES WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY (except Little Tigers).

Youth classes will run at the usual times:
Juniors (all ranks) 9:00 – 9:45 AM
Super Juniors (all ranks) 9:45 – 10:45 AM

Adult class (all ranks) will run from 11:00 AM to noon.

Tuition is $10 per student. No pre-registration is necessary.
